As part of the YCN Design awards I chose a brief that consisted of creating a campaign that would encourage culturally engaged young people aged 20-30 to experience ballet for the first time. Ballet deals with the big human themes like opera; Life, Love, Death, Loss, Passion, Joy, Anger and Humour (the things we deal with in everyday life). I wanted to express this throughout the campaign to really encourage the target audience. I based the graphics on the shapes each emotion portrays within the body and then took this and created a 3D graphic. I then added a subtle image of a ballet dance to make it clear of the message I am encouraging. I explored the campaign throughout London using print, digital, out of home advertisement and social media.
